Intermountain Plumbing & Mechanical was established in 1990 and provides plumbing, heating, and cooling services for for both residential and commercial customers. Our team can service a wide range of needs. We are certified in both Radiant Hydronic heating as well as Snowmelt systems including Wirsbo, Uponor, and REHAU. We are licensed, bonded, and insured and ready to handle all your plumbing and HVAC needs.

John leads the HVAC division at Intermountain Plumbing & Mechanical with a hands-on approach that combines deep technical knowledge, field experience, and project management expertise. Having been with Intermountain since 2013, John has played a significant role in the growth and success of the company’s heating and cooling operations.
As our HVAC Manager and Estimator, he oversees every aspect of system design, estimating, and installation to ensure each project meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
With years of experience in both residential and commercial HVAC systems, John brings a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver efficient, code-compliant, and cost-effective mechanical solutions. From reviewing plans and coordinating with general contractors to managing field crews and verifying final commissioning, John ensures every detail aligns with client expectations and project goals.
He’s known for his precise estimates, clear communication, and commitment to keeping projects on schedule and within budget. Whether it’s a new construction build, retrofit, or change-out, John’s focus is always on delivering dependable comfort systems built to last.
His leadership and dedication make him a key part of Intermountain’s reputation for integrity, craftsmanship, and professionalism across Northern Arizona.
Jeff - Operations Manager
As Operations Manager and Construction Project Manager at Intermountain Plumbing & Mechanical, Jeff helps coordinate daily operations and supports the successful execution of plumbing, HVAC, and hydronic projects from start to finish. Since joining the team in 2023, he has become an important part of maintaining organization and communication across both office and field operations.
He works closely with field supervisors, technicians, and builders to assist with scheduling, project coordination, and communication between the office and job sites. His role helps ensure projects stay organized, efficient, and moving forward as planned.
Jeff’s focus on teamwork, organization, and clear communication helps keep both field crews and office operations working together smoothly to deliver quality results for our customers throughout Northern Arizona.
AJ - Hydronics / Radiant Manager
As Hydronics Supervisor at Intermountain Plumbing & Mechanical, AJ specializes in the design, installation, and commissioning of high-performance boiler and radiant heating systems. His deep understanding of hydronic technology and system efficiency makes him one of the region’s most trusted experts in radiant floor heating, snowmelt systems, and commercial boiler applications. After a brief retirement, AJ returned to Intermountain in 2022, bringing his expertise back to the team.
AJ oversees all phases of hydronic projects—from system layout and equipment selection to field installation, startup, and final testing. Known for his precision, craftsmanship, and ability to solve complex mechanical challenges, he ensures every system operates at peak performance and meets both design intent and code requirements.
With meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, AJ plays a crucial role in maintaining Intermountain’s reputation for excellence in radiant and hydronic heating solutions throughout Northern Arizona.
Vanessa - Service Dispatch/ Social Media Content Developer
Vanessa is the friendly and unmistakably energetic voice you’ll most often hear when you call Intermountain Plumbing & Mechanical. If she sounds like she’s yelling, don’t worry—she’s not mad, she’s just loud! Her big personality, contagious laugh, and can-do attitude bring energy to the office and make every customer interaction memorable. Vanessa has been a valued member of the Intermountain team since 2021.
As our Service Scheduler and Customer Service Representative, Vanessa coordinates the daily flow of the service department—making sure technicians are dispatched efficiently and customers receive prompt, professional support. She assists with scheduling, service updates, warranty coordination, and customer communication, helping ensure every appointment runs smoothly from start to finish.
In addition to supporting the service team, Vanessa also serves as Intermountain’s Social Media Content Developer, helping share the work our team performs across Northern Arizona. From project highlights and seasonal maintenance reminders to company updates and community involvement, she helps keep our customers informed and connected.
Her strong organizational skills, creativity, and genuine care for customers make Vanessa an essential part of the Intermountain team.
